This project belonged to our ‘facade cladding’ department and consisted of delivering and installing aluminium sandwich plates called ‘Alucopal’. This type of cladding consists of an aluminium composite plate available in virtually all RAL colours. The plates are lightweight and can be used for a number of applications, both for interiors as well as exteriors.
This project involved attaching the Alucopal cladding to an installed 3D adjustable aluminium sub-frame with screws or adhesive bonding. Despite the project’s name, ‘the Grijze Generaal’ (in English: ‘the Grey General’), the cladding is actually composed mainly of various shades of green, adding quite a sleek look to the ‘Woensel’ area in Eindhoven.
